Prescription Renewal Policy

To renew your prescription, please contact your pharmacy.

They will send a Prescription Renewal Request to the Medical Clinic or Greenstone Family Health Team on your behalf. Please do not call the clinic directly for renewals; all requests must go through your pharmacy.

Multiple requests will not expedite the process.

Please submit your renewal request to the pharmacy at least 7 days before your prescription runs out, as providers may take up to 7 days to process the request.

Requests made with less than 7 days' notice may not be refilled in time.​

Prescription medications require monitoring, and your provider may ask you to book an appointment before renewing your medications once the request has been submitted by the pharmacy.
